On Friday the 10th, the 6th grade had their first Calvert mixer for which they traveled to Skateland on Bel Air road to "skate" for 2 hours with other area schools. I use the word "skate" loosely, as many more kids actually clung to the side walls for dear life or hung out by the snack bar than actually skated! A good time was had by all, and we walked away with only one broken wrist... :-/
