L.S. Art Club Fall Foliage Printmaking

Lower Schoolers used the colors and patterns of the fall leaves to create these seasonal prints. They used traditional printmaking techniques including making a printing plate (pushing into printing foam with a special wooden stylus), inking it with a brayer (a special roller) and rubbing it with a baren (a tool to distribute pressure evenly). Here are just a few examples... The rest are on display in the 1st floor lobby of the Middle School!
