After Andy Goldsworthy

Andy Goldsworthy is a British sculptor, photographer and environmentalist living in Scotland who produces site-specific sculpture and land art situated in natural and urban settings. His art involves the use of natural and found objects, to create both temporary and permanent sculptures which draw out the character of their environment. And, he happens to be one of my favorite artists!

Seventh graders viewed many examples of Goldsworthy's work before heading outdoors to create temporary land art of their own utilizing the beautiful fall foliage and other natural found objects on campus. Here are just some of the beautiful results:
