Coil pots

In between the creation of their multimedia still lifes and their monochromatic portrait paintings, 7th graders created coiled pots. The assignment was rather loose... after showing them a slideshow of different coiled vessels, I decided it would be fun to see what they would come up with. They could use coils however they wanted... smooth them, leave them visible, twist them, anything!

 They spent the last few days of the year glazing the pieces, so they were never on display, and some I didn't even get a photo of in the bustle of the end of the year and returning work :(
